ORPHALESE FILMS
About
Independent film production and post-production. Tunis, Tunisia.
A place for cinema
Founded in Tunis in 2025, Orphalese Films works with fiction, documentary and experimental films, from writing to completion.
Our work follows individual perspectives and the form each film calls for. It rests on an ongoing relationship with filmmakers and close attention to editing, image and sound.
An approach
We come from a place where making a film is a need. We look for what remains: a face, a voice, a gesture. Orphalese is being built as an independent working space, open to fiction, reality and experimentation.
The work
Development and writing support. Production and co-production. Editing, image and sound post-production. Work shaped around each project, its needs and the conditions in which it is made.
